Born and raised in State College, Alex actually ended up teaching in the same classroom that he attended as a student at Park Forest. Alex's wife, Mackenzie, is an ESL teacher at Easterly Parkway Elementary and they are the proud parents of a daughter named Lanie, who was born in August 2020. Away from school, Alex enjoys running, biking, swimming, golfing, skiing, reading, and attending State College and Penn State athletic events. He is also actively involved in his church and in the State College swimming community and is a former varsity assistant coach for the swimming and diving team.
