WELCOME!Hello! My name is Amy Rebarchak and I am the 8th grade general music teacher for the Black Bear and Gray Fox teams. In addition, I also have the privilege of conducting the 8th grade choir. This is my thirteenth year of teaching in State College and I'm really looking forward to getting to know this group of 8th graders.In 8th grade music, we continue to build musical skills that students have been developing from K-7th grades. To do this, we focus on keyboarding, singing, music history, listening to music, composing, and reading/writing notes and rhythms. My hope is that students leave 8th grade music with a greater understanding and appreciation for all genres of music!
