SCASD has purchased rights to a large collection of royalty free music and sound effects from Soundzabound. Files from their website may be used by all SCASD staff members and students to create school related:

• podcasts
• slide presentations
• videos
• video yearbooks
• digital storytelling
• TV broadcasts
• web design
• and more! 

SCASD staff members and students do not need permission to use the files and no permission is needed to distribute projects made with the files on the internet or even for sale.  As with any material you incorporate into your teaching and presentations, you should give credit to the owner of the material.  MLA 8 suggests the following for a sound file:

 

      Group or last name of creator, First name of Creator (if known). "Title of Audio Clip." Soundzabound,
            www.soundzabound.com (copy and paste clip's URL). Accessed (Day)(Month)(Year).

      Powerplay. "About U." Soundzabound, www.soundzabound.com/about-u-2. Accessed 26 Sept. 2016.
