Thank you for visiting the art room page!  In weekly classes we use the artistic process to communicate ideas, learn about past and present cultures, and develop skills handling tools and materials.  Careful observation, healthy risk-taking, collaboration, and fine motor control are just some of the skills taught through visual arts. Most importantly, making art is a fun way to learn!  All that learning can be messy, so please don't wear your fanciest clothes on art days.  We use paint, clay, ink, glue...all kinds of wonderful materials to explore creatively.
