The mission of the SCASD libraries is to encourage each student to become a lifelong reader, learner, and effective, responsible user of information. To support this mission, students should return library materials in a timely manner and in good condition.

If materials are not returned, or are damaged beyond repair, students receive overdue and lost book communications from library staff which seek payment so the materials can be replaced.
