Soundzabound - Music and sound effects that may be used by staff and students for school projects without copyright issues.

Freeplay Music - Free music for students. To use the music, 1) the student must be on on school grounds; 2) the student must be using the music for a classroom project; 3) the music must be for non-broadcast use; 4) the student project must include the statement "Music provided by www.freeplaymusic.com."

Public Domain Information Project - Public domain music and songs

ImageQuest - - Millions of photos that may be used royalty free for SCASD student and staff projects. As always, cite your use! For further info, try this Video of ImageQuest tips.

Classroom Clipart - Free Clipart, clip art illustrations and photographs

Clker.com - Provides royalty free & public domain clipart. Allows user to "vectorize" images.

Creative Commons - A site where contributors can share their created works with the public. Users must check each item for its unique usage/license parameters. For more info, try Creative Commons' Frequently Asked Questions page. 

Flickr: The Commons - From the collections of the Library of Congress, Smithsonian Institution, British Museum, George Eastman Museum, National Library of Medicine, The Powerhouse Museum Collection, the U.S. National Archives, etc. To be included in Flickr, photos are required to have no known copyright restrictions.

FreeFoto - Over 130,000 photos provided.
Students and teachers may use FreeFoto images for the classroom as long as they provide attribution to the image and an accompanying link back to the FreeFoto website. 

Library of Congress - Provides copyright-free historical images.

NASA (National Aeronautics & Space Administration) - Provides copyright free images and videos for educational use. See "Usage Guidelines" for more specific information.

NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration) - Almost all of their photos are available in the public domain. See "About" link for specifics on usage. 

Pics4Learning - K-12 appropriate, copyright-free images for classroom projects and/or websites in an educational setting.

TeacherFiles.com - Copyright-free clipart for teachers. Any images used must give attribution to the TeacherFiles.com site. 

USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) - Provides copyright free images (food, animals, etc.).

Wikimedia Commons - Repository of public domain and freely-licensed educational media content (images, sound and video clips). Files may be copied and/or modified as long as individual author terms and conditions are followed.
 
WPClipart - K12 appropriate, copyright-free images for students.
