State High sophomore Jesse Myers won gold in the 200 meters at the PIAA Track and Field State Championships on May 27, 2023, in Shippensburg, Pa. Jesse’s time of 21.23 broke his own school record he set earlier this year. Additionally, Jesse placed second in the 400 meters (47.81) and fourth in the 100 meters (10.78). His performances helped lead the boys team to a second place finish.

1,600 meter run: Nick Sloff, sixth (4:11.40, NFHS honor roll)*
4x800 meter relay: Henry Adams, Owen Vaira, Sam Viglione, Nick Sloff, third (7:48.47, NFHS honor roll)*
Discus throw: Nathan Haas, seventh (158-11)
The girls team finished in 44th place highlighted by the 4x800 meter relay team: Marlee Kwasnica, Chloe Poindexter, Amy Devan, Grace Morningstar (9:20.27).
