PTO Rummage Sale:
Saturday April 23rd The AP room has been reserved for Friday night set-up and the sale Saturday, which will run from 9-2. Sat set up 8:30 am, clean up from 2-3.
Donations will be accepted Wed & Thurs before with tagging and sorting on Friday.
Pride Stride:
Friday April 29th We will need volunteers to supply snack and to assist at the event. Students are to bring their own water bottles. Ginger has procured Rapid Transit to supply runner bibs for our walkers and she is looking for suggestions for incentives. There will be 2 groups walking during each of the 3 lunch periods for a total of 6 groups. Still discussing how miles walked will be logged for walkers: marker swipe or stamp on hand? Use of Fit for Funds, which can accept flat donations, but not per-lap; Done through Paypal. Ginger suggested perhaps there could be a pep rally to get everyone excited to participate.
5th Grade Yearbook:
Per Tina, there is currently $200 that has been received for yearbook messages, very short as compared to years past. There was a suggestion that perhaps there would need to be a fee to receive yearbooks this year. Mr. Wynkoop floated the idea of having a schoolwide yearbook (for all grades).
Spring Spiritwear Sale:
A spring spiritwear sale is a possibility.
5th Grade Philadelphia Trip
Friday May 6th. 5th graders will have solid colored shirts this year in lieu of tie dyed version done in previous years. Preferably something bright to easily identify our kids in the crowd.
Friendship Night:
May 20th (June 3rd rain date) – Chair for this event is still needed. This is a Potluck/outdoor Movie night. Per Mr. Wynkoop, Mrs. Wynkoop will be able to run the potluck side and Ginger MacRae will make movie screen & sound system available for the event.
