9/3/2020:

Good afternoon,

As a result of tomorrow's "snow day" and the uncertainty that lies ahead, we are preparing for the possibility of remote learning next week.  Today, we will be sending home supplies for six days of remote CEEL learning.  Please ensure your students do not have access to these materials until we know what is happening on Tuesday.  In the event that we do go remote next week, students will be invited to participate in remote CEEL and the materials provided will be used for activities during these remote sessions.

If your student was not at CEEL today, there will still be opportunities for them to partake in CEEL remotely, as not all activity options will require materials.

Should we return to in person CEEL on Tuesday, we ask that you save these supplies for possible future remote needs. As a reminder, should we go full remote, you have paid for CEEL through 9/15 and we will provide remote opportunities for the balance that time.

Meeting links and information regarding virtual program times and activities will be sent on Tuesday morning should we be in a remote scenario at that time.

Best,

Mrs. Park

9/8/2020:

Good Morning EP and CS CEEL Families,

As promised, here are the details regarding our remote activities for the week. While we don't yet know whether we will be in-person the week of 9/14, we have included the activity options for 9/14 and 9/15 in case we are still remote. Because you are paid for programming through 9/15, remote programming will run through that period of time if we do not return to school in-person before then.

Activity options can be viewed in the flyer found here. If students wish to participate in the day's craft activity, it will be helpful if they have the required materials handy (as detailed in the flyer linked above). Activities are subject to change based on available staff; however, we will do our best to carry out activities as detailed in the flyer.

The Zoom link will be the same each day and can be found below. Students can log in at 3:30 p.m. each day and activities will last at least an hour, but will end by 5:30 p.m.

Supply bags were sent home last Thursday. If your student was not in attendance or otherwise did not bring home a bag, he/she can still participate in remote activities as not all options require supplies.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I appreciate your patience as we navigate this new (and hopefully temporary!) CEEL program. I look forward to seeing your child later today.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Park

9/18/2020:

Good Morning,

I wanted to send an email due to several parents reaching out to me regarding the present CEEL and remote learning. While remote learning is in process for the school district, the CEEL program will pause the payments as well all activities. The program will begin again when in person instruction begins again. So, you will not be charged during remote learning and you do not need to cancel your child's enrollment with the program for payment to stop. If you do not want your child to be in the program once in person begins, reach out to me and we can start the cancellation process. For those who plan on utilizing the program when in person instruction resumes, your child will remain enrolled until such time.

I do apologize for any confusion about this week. The remote activities were being offered for the days that you had paid which ended this past Tuesday. I know that the CEEL Staff and I really enjoyed the activities that helped us stay connected with your children during this time. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Best,

Mrs. Park

9/28/2020:

Dear CEEL Families,

I apologize for the lateness of this email and any confusion that a lack of communication may have brought. CEEL is continuing now that we are in person and will continue for as long as we are in person.

Please note that CEEL payment for the time period of 9/30 to 10/15 will be charged to the credit card on file in your online registration account tomorrow morning, Tuesday September 29. That is an anticipated 12 school days at $13/day. Specific invoice amounts will vary based on applied discounts or scholarships. Make sure your credit card on file is active and up to date. Should your payment fail, you will receive an email notification immediately and must pay by 8 a.m. the next day (Wednesday, 9/30) to avoid a $25 late fee.

I look forward to welcoming everyone back this afternoon. If you have questions, please let me know.

Thank you,

Mrs. Park

9/29/2020:

Good morning families,
It was wonderful to have everyone together again yesterday! Please review the updated Parent Handbook here. I encourage you to review it carefully, particularly if you have been with us before, as there are several changes due to the current circumstances.

Once you have reviewed the document, please follow this link and complete the form to indicate you have reviewed the handbook. There is an additional question regarding viewing PG movies. Please complete the acknowledgement form by Monday October 5th at 4 p.m.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,

Mrs. Park
