    2018 PSAT Registration Now Open - Sept 11- 25th. 

    ONLY Sophomores wanting to take the PSAT must register.  The PSAT will be free to all juniors - juniors DO NOT need to register or pay.  CLICK HERE for instructions to begin PSAT registration.

    ATTENTION SENIORS:  Registration for the October 6th SAT exam is now in progress.  The registration deadline is Friday, September 7th.  (Late registration is until Sept 26th with an additional late fee charged.)  This is the last chance for seniors to take the SAT at our high school in time to meet most college application deadlines.  You can register online at www.collegeboard.org.  Practice booklets are available in the Counseling Office – Room C135.

  • State High's Drum Major takes school spirit seriously

    This fall, Sam Oleynik will do more than keep the beat for the State High marching band. He’ll keep everyone upbeat. Oleynik is State High’s latest drum major, the field commander prominently bedecked in the special white uniform with the silver-topped staff, white gloves and furry hat.

  • Easterly Parkway Elementary principal hired

    The Board of Directors has approved Danielle Yoder as the new principal of Easterly Parkway Elementary School. Yoder comes to SCASD from the Penns Valley Area School District, where she had been the principal of Penns Valley Elementary and Intermediate School since 2015.

  • Farewell to fifth-graders

    On the last day of school, they came in as elementary schoolers and left as middle schoolers. Watch as fifth-graders at Radio Park Elementary are dismissed for the final time.

  • Creating domestic abuse awareness

    Senior Sarah Paterno created a simulation for the Centre County Women's Resource Center to help educate students and emphasize the warning signs of domestic abuse.
